On January 26, 2022, Goodfynd’s CEO Sofiat Abdulrazaaq was featured in Forbes.

POC-Founded Fintech Raises $1.8 Million In VC To Help The Food Truck Industry by Geri Stengel.

The article highlights how three college friends took their love of street food and turned it into solutions specific to the unique challenges food truck entrepreneurs face.

Sofiat “Sofie” Abdulrazaaq, Lemaire Stewart, and Kyle Miller loved street food and after falling in love with one particular food truck’s delicacies, they found it difficult to find the truck again.

An idea was born – Goodfynd!

They built an app to keep track of food trucks in the area but quickly learned that food truck owners had a unique set of needs and challenges.

When Covid hit the need for Goodfynd only grew. With many restaurants closed or with seating limited, it was an opportunity for many trucks to expand their business. Online ordering was especially helpful in connecting hungry customers with nearby food truck options. And trucks needed help locating new customers, with many offices shut or operating on reduced staff.

Because they didn’t have access to traditional forms of investment the three worked non-stop to fund their dream.
